- want your candle to last longer with minimal soot? make sure you trim the wick to 1/8''-1/4'' before every single new burn. (we have found trimming the wick 1/4'' from first burn to halfway, then trimming to 1/8'' from halfway to the end of burning works best.)

- allow your candle to burn 4 hours the first time you burn. this ensures that your candle reaches a full melt pool and burns evenly for its full life. (it's normal with coconut soy wax to have some wax hang up on the sides after the first few burns; it will catch up later.)

- for maximum burn hours, try not to power burn your candle (burning for longer than 4 hours at a time). burning longer will reduce burn hours and help cause soot.

- keep an eye out. place your candle within eyesight and away from any flammable items. never leave a candle unattended.

all candles are made in our home located in the north georgia mountains. because each candle is individually hand-poured in small batches, slight variations and imperfections may occur, which will not impact the quality of the candle. each marbled candle is hand marbled, each with it's own unique look. marbling will vary.
